He has learned to roll onto his tummy and now loves to sleep like that. Sometimes he will sleep on his side (like in the picture) but lately he has been sleeping flat on his tummy.

Ok...I am really going to try to keep up with this blog, so people can keep up with what is going on in our lives. It's definitely harder to keep up on things with a little monster on our hands. Luckily he isn't crawling yet...that's when I will finally lose the baby weight!

Anyway, I met up with some friends at the park today and Drew went in the baby swing for the first time. He LOVED it! I didn't have my camera (oops!), but Josie had hers, so she is going to send me some pictures. I will add them as soon as I can.

But here are a couple recent shots of Drew. He is getting so big. He will be 6 months old next week. I think he is around 20 lbs, but we will find out in another week when he goes to the doc. He is FINALLY sleeping all night, usually around 10-12 hours. Now we are just working on a good nap schedule...this kid fights sleep more than anything! Well here are a few pics to enjoy and I will update the park pics as soon as I get them.

A couple pictures...

Brutus and Caesar, our first 2 babies...
Here is a picture of Rick and I, just a few months before I got pregnant with Drew. Can you see the resemblance?
Here is a picture of Drew at 5 months old. He is a happy baby and loves to smile!

History of the Belin Family

Well a little bit about myself and my fam. I am originally from a (somewhat) small town in Indiana. I basically lived there my whole life until I moved to Purdue to attend college. At Purdue I studied Management, but changed my major 2 years into it to focus on Hospitality and Tourism Management. Basically I wanted to travel the world, not really have a "home", maybe work on a cruise ship for a while, or do some event planning, stuff like that. Then...I met Rick. We quickly fell in love and I decided that my priorities had changed. I wanted to get married, have a 9-5 job, start a family and eventually become a stay at home mom to my 2 beautiful children (right now we only have 1, #2 will come eventually). So we did...and I did. We got engaged about 9 months after we met (when you know, you know), and 9 months after that we got married (Sept 13, 2003). We lived in Kansas City for a while for Rick's job, then moved to Valpo, IN so he could go back to school to get his MBA at...you guessed it...Purdue. Once the MBA was achieved, we were brought to Minneapolis...a place I swore I would never live, too cold...yet here I am, loving it! A couple months after we moved here I found myself a job at a staffing company and got pregnant! In March of 2008, we welcomed our new baby Drew to the world. I quit my job at the staffing company to become a stay at home mom. I now have the BEST job in the world. I get to see my little boy grow up and teach him everything I can. Someday I will go back to work and get an actual paycheck, but for now, I'm happy here at home with Drew, and our 2 dogs, Brutus (a great dane) and Caesar (an english bulldog).

New to this blogging thing...

So I see that everyone now has these blogs and I like to read them to keep up on what is going on, so I figured, why not start one of my own? So here goes. Not sure what I'm going to focus on, but for now I will just speak mostly about my family, since that is what is more important to me! I hope you enjoy reading my "blog" as much as I enjoy reading others.
